Computational Imaging Lab Siegen

The research topics of the Chair for Computational Sensing/Communications Engineering are in the area of “Computational Imaging”, i.e. the design and implementation of imaging systems that involve sophisticated algorithmic processing as a core component.

Our research focuses on a holistic approach to imaging tasks that incorporates the experimental design, modeling and numerical aspects of the imaging system as well as its experimental realization, data acquisition, algorithm design and data evaluation. In addressing the full imaging pipeline we aim at leveraging the full optimization potential for such systems.
